Hilary Cahalan qualified as a solicitor in March 2004 and has been a prominent figure in family law courts for the past two decades.
She graduated with an LLB (Hons) in 1997. In April 2024, Hilary established her own niche family law practice in Abbeyleix, Co Laois, aiming to offer straightforward advice and empathetic support during challenging times related to marital or relationship breakdowns.
Our focus is on delivering clear, concise, and practical advice to achieve the best possible outcomes for our clients. We understand that legal matters can be stressful and expensive; therefore, we prioritize transparent communication regarding costs and fees from the outset.
Hilary’s extensive experience includes experience working with a general practice firm in the Midlands, focusing on child care law and representing the Child & Family Agency (TUSLA) in various proceedings.
She has also completed a Certificate in Child Law from the Law Society of Ireland.
